I had a disappointing experience with the reservations at this hotel, and the customer service was lacking. Despite several attempts to resolve the issues, I still ended up facing unexpected cancellation fees. The room was clean, but the overall communication was frustrating and unprofessional. Drakes Island Resort is an amazing place to stay with a welcoming atmosphere and fantastic service. Our cottage was meticulously clean, and the owners made us feel right at home every time we visited. Being so close to the beach and local eateries is a huge plus, but there might be limited dining options on-site. Overall, it's a great spot to relax and unwind, and I can’t wait to return next year!

I had a wonderful stay at this resort, which offered well-kept and clean accommodations in a peaceful setting. The owner, Shelli, was incredibly accommodating and accessible, making our experience even better. The resort includes various options for lodging like cabins and campers, and there’s a nice outdoor pool to relax in. However, while the game room is a nice touch, it could use some more games to enhance the experience.
